Fundraising

The foundation of independent advocacy.

Fundraising is the engine behind our work. We place real emphasis on building a diverse funding base — donations from individuals, companies, and foundations — so we can keep up independent advocacy for children without relying on public grants that could compromise our independence.

Want to help us grow?

Looking for people for the fundraising team.

We are building a capable team of people who want to do their part in securing the financial base the work needs. No experience is necessary — interest and a will to do good matter most. People with a background in sales or marketing, or a wide network in the business community, are also a particularly good fit.

What does the work involve?

Three pillars of fundraising.

A large part of the work ahead is building a fundraising system — processes, tools, and know-how — that we intend to share free of charge with other organizations working for children. That way your contribution serves not just us, but the whole field.

01

Relationship building

Reaching individuals, companies, and foundations that might want to support the work — and building long-term relationships grounded in a shared understanding of the cause.

02

Organizing

Planning and running fundraising campaigns, events, and grant applications. Team members pick projects to match their own interests and schedule.

03

Outreach

Presenting the organization's work to potential backers — both in meetings and in everyday life. Supporters of a cause are often found in your own network.

Who are we looking for?

Motivated people — at every career stage.

We are looking for people who care deeply about children's and youth issues and want to do their part to secure independent, effective advocacy. The team is a mixed group — every contribution counts equally.

  • Beginners: No experience needed — we provide training and support from day one.
  • Experienced: People with a background in sales, marketing, events, or grant applications get room to run their own projects.
  • Networkers: People with a wide network in business, public administration, or the nonprofit sector are a particularly good fit.
